Catherine Zibo - CV

In my artistic practice I reflect upon jewelry’s ability to nourish real-life sensations and interactions, its diverse talismanic functions and its potential as a vessel for meanings and associations. As a devoted art history explorer, I play with symbols, cultural codes and references to be recognized by a viewer - consciously or subconsciously.  As a jeweler, I investigate the possibilities of connecting artistic heritage with contemporary urban routines through wearable artifacts.
